BNET.co.uk talks about our very own Fertilty app.
The LifeForce fertility app, dubbed the iBaby, launched on iTunes on April 19, and, according to a release, provides an interactive alternative to the drudgery of NHS waiting lists and the costly per cycle private IVF centers.
The company said it gives women and their partners 24-hour access to information direct to their iPhone, guiding them through both a holistic and medical course of treatments.
The application offers individually targeted fertility consultations with Jules Williams, a counselor and an authority on holistic medicine, and Harley Street clinician Dr. Laurence Shaw, a specialist with nearly 30-years experience in reproductive medicine and surgery.
The LifeForce Fertility application has been named the number one fertility application by the Telegraph.

Gaurdian – Why many women are unable to have a second child
Friday, May 7th, 2010Interesting with Maggie O Farrell’s article today. One of the reasons we created the Fertility App was the type of experience women and couples can go through with the trials and tribulations of secondary infertility.
On an emotional level it is very common in my experience and the 1000’s of clients I have dealt with for the secondary infertility to arise because the second child will be of a different sex to the first and consequently the subconscious will trigger all the host fears of the mother or father potentially having to relive their own traumas from childhood through the newborn version of themselves or deep seated issues they had with mothering/fathering.
In Maggie’s article she had a son initially very easily and naturally, but obviously subconsciously knowing that she would be having a female child next surfaced all her own childhood expereinces and the subconscious attempted to block optimum fertility to try and ‘protect’ her from those past hurts.
Regardless of anyones’s belief in the soul and the subconscious, any couple experiencing infertility will by the very nature of being exposed to such a potent personal issue find themselves, talking more and sharing more on an emotional level and also discussing more openly thier fears, worries and doubts, which in some cases may even be enough to turn things around.
